Ok, I know questions like this are generally frowned upon but......

I was at Abt Electronics on Sunday looking to replace my Hitachi 43UWX10B (warranty replacement), and I wanted to show my wife the Samsung DLP's. Well we went there not knowing that yesterday they were having there anniversary sale. They had the Panasonic 45" LCD on sale for $3K with 3 years free service (and Panasonic is running the free HDTV receiver to boot). So my wife says, "Let's get it."

So, for three grand I get the above. Is this a good deal (I do not care about the future compatiblity of DVI, etc. so please answer accordingly)? I am only getting 1800 plus tax from the credit card so the other 1200 will have to come from savings.

    Thanks
