I have a Panasonic HDTV Widescreen 47" tv and noticed it has a DVI In port in the back.

Can I use this with my computer's DVI out and plug the two together?

If yes, what would you recommend for a system resolution?
Thanks!

I read the manual, but it wasn't that useful about the DVI port other than just stating it's a DVI in port.

My reason for asking is I'm building a pvr computer to hook up to the TV. It won't sit on the same screen that often and certainly not for any real lenght of time.

Thanks!

Greetings

Make sure it a DVI digital signal going to the tV ... as Computers can output DVI analog too .

Resolution would be xx X 1080i or xx X 540P

When I did HTPC ... I used to do 960 x 540P which the TV accepted as 1080i.

Regards
