Panasonic Firmware update (1 Viewer)

I found this while looking to see if they had my users manual up yet. I have the one that came with my PT-53WXD63 but I like having the PDF on my laptop. Well anyway, I knew my tv used linux and is able to have updates. So here is a link to the update which also includes the following tv's: PT-47WXD63, PT-53WXD63, PT-53WTD63, and the PT-56WTD63.

I have the same model and have also noticed the available update. I haven't noticed any problems with the optical output so far but would like to know exactly what issues this update resolves. I don't want to have to buy an SD card if I don't have to. I would also have to buy an adapter (usb?) for my computer to transfer the zip file to the card. :frowning:

There is a mail-in form that came with the tv to notify the user of any more future firmware updates. I still need to send it in.

I agree. I have not had any issues myself. Mine and yours may be new enough to already have the update.
