Panasonic E60 (1 Viewer)

I had the Panasonic DMR-E80H which is very similar to the E60. I returned it because I seen noticeable artifacting through it's ADC/TBC circuits. That was just the pass through, not recording, although those artifacts do end up being in the recording as well.

I now have a Pioneer DVR-510H and it's recordings are mirrored clones to the original in SP mode and above. I'm extremely impressed by the performance/features to value ratio. An excellent value when you compare next to the competitors.

There will always be an encode to MPEG2 since the DV format isn't compatible to the DVD format. DV always needs to be converted over to MPEG2.
