I heard that Panasonic is replacing the DVD-RV32 series with the new DVD-S35S, which has supposed sports an improved MPEG-2 decoder chip, a new drive transport and also added 480p component video output. The suggested retail price is US$99.95.

I really hope they improved the slo-mo controls on the remote, since my big gripe about current Panasonic DVD player remotes is that it's kind of difficult to control the slo-mo speed. [IMG]

By the way, I heard that Panasonic is dropping the Faroudja deinterlacing chip on the newest models, including the DVD-S35K/S. I better grab an older Panasonic model before they're gone. [IMG]
