Panasonic DVD-RP91 mods? (1 Viewer)

Has anyone located service manuals for the RP91?
More importantly has anyone discovered a way to change the intro message 'WELCOME TO DVD WORLD' when the unit powers on? I love the 91 and have had no problems with the unit but that intro screen bothers me at some fundamental level

I think all Panasonic players startup with that message. Both my A110 and my parent's RP-56 display the same message. Don't know a way to change it, though...

Steve, welcome to the Forum. I have the Technics DVD-A10, a predecessor to the 'RP91. It too scrolls "Welcome to the DVD World" at start-up. I think it's lame, but I don't think there is a way to change it.
