I was wondering if there might be an answer to this question? Do you get better picture quality if you go to the Hard Drive first and then into a DVD-R... or straight into the DVD-R?
1. Playing from an outside source (DVD, LD), then recording onto the Hard Drive on XP and then transfering the source to a DVD-R in XP or SP
2. Playing from an outside source (DVD, LD), and trasfering straight onto the DVD-R in XP or SP
I know that the DVD-Ram produces a better picture, but I prefer to use DVD-R so they can play on all machines.
