I just bought this recorder, and while reading through the manual, I noticed that there was no mention of the capacity to jump to a specific spot in a movie (to a specific hour-minute-second). This is such a basic function that I just assumed every DVD player (and recorder) would have it. And maybe this one does have it, but it just isn't mentioned in the rather slim manual. Does anyone know for sure?

If your talking about DVD's that you have recorded & I remember right from using a friends you enter the time you want to go to using the "Time Slip" feature. If your talking about store bought DVD's I don't know but maybe someone else will know. If not over at the AVS FORUM there are a lot of Panny owners over there & I'm sure they could tell you.
