Is this a good non-flat TV? Does it have known geometry or red push problems that can't be corrected in the service menu? I don't have any use for flat screens or silver cabinets so the notion of getting a name brand 2-tuner PIP set for $299 is attractive. Any opinions welcome.

I owned that set a while back before I upgraded to the 32" version and I was quite happy with it. If I remember correctly the reds were a bit heavily saturated but I turned them down in the service menu.
