Panasonic 47WX49 versus Mitsubishi 46809 (1 Viewer)

I am torn between these two TV's. The Mits is about $2100 locally, $1800 if I can price match. The Panasonic is about $2000 locally, $1500 with the price match.
But my real question is this........how do they compare to each other in real world tests? Is one better then the other? Is the quality of both equal?
If anyone has either of them, or has already done this comparison, I would like to hear what you have to say on your findings.

I have had a Mits 46807 for about 6 months now and it is a great TV. There is also an abundance of info out on the Mits as far as tweakability, if your into doing that.
The Panny is fresh on the market and I'm not sure how much info there is out on it.
HomeTheaterSpot is a great source for Mits tweaks.

The Panasonic has a dedicated web site/forum with a ton of tweaks and info. It is part of the reason I bought the set, and I haven't been disappointed. Check it out:

I think it is the Mits that is getting the nod. I like that it is a "table-top" model.....that will allow me to build the base for it that will also hold all my components.
Now let the haggle begin with the salesman.
