Panasonic 27" Tau (CT-27SX11) or Sony 27" WEGA (KV-27FS17)? (1 Viewer)

I am getting a GameCube in a few days and I just wanted to get myself a nice TV for my room. From what I've heard, the low end WEGA's have geometry problems but they have more features. I'm interested in picture quality. I dont need progressive scan cause I watch my dvd's downstairs. So....which one should i get? Thx
