I know this has been mentioned on the forum before, but I couldn't really find a definite answer. I'm looking into using the Panamax 1000+ or the Panamax 500. The main difference is that the 1000+ allows you to have switched components triggered by the preamp and such.
Would I be able to plug my Samson amp for my SVS subwoofer into the Panamax without adversely affecting performance? Would I need to use it in an unswitched outlet, or would it be ok in the switched or delayed outlets?
    Thanks
    Daniel

I wrote Panamax one time asking a similar question. They told me the total unit is capable of handling 1800W, so they projected the use of most amplifiers will be easily supported.
