Hi,
Are there any hardware features of the CP72 that would make it superior to the CV52 when it (CP72) is being used in interlaced mode on a standard (non-HD) television?

Thanks,
BrianGC

The CP72 has a better MPEG decoder the MN677531KA. Panasonic uses this decoder in all the models with built in DD/DTS and DVD-A decoders. They also use it in the XP30.

All of Panasonics other model have the lower quality MN677533MP.

Thanks for the reply! :) I've seen the xp30 and xp50? mentioned, new models I guess. Are they coming out with any new changer models?

I thought a changer would be nice to have, the CV52 is the only one available locally, guess I should start looking around online for who has what.

Thanks,
BrianGC
