Pan. CP72 and DVD recordable media? (1 Viewer)

Anyone know which recordable formats will play in a CP72? I know some of the recorders let you change some flag to make one type of disc look like another for greater compatibility but I'm not sure what that's called.

I'm also interested to know if the Dual Layer discs will play (+R or -R)?

DVD-R for sure. DVD+R only works if the booktype setting is set to DVD-ROM. Haven't tried dual layer.
