PAL on DVD-ROM (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I'm not sure if this topic belongs here -- this is my first post. Sorry!

I've got a Toshiba SD-M1612 in my PC, and as many of you may know, it can't be made region free.

So, I won't be able to play Region 2 PAL DVD's on the darn thing. But can anyone tell me if I'll be able to run Region 0 PAL DVD's? I'm using WinDVD 3. Has anyone ran a PAL DVD through WinDVD? Is it possible?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, region 0 DVD will play on any DVD player or DVD-Rom Drive. That is my experience, anyway.

You misunderstand, Marc.
I think the question is "Will PAL DVDs play on my DVD-Rom?"
