Many front, and maybe rear, projectors are capable of playing the PAL format. Are there are PAL/NTSC players available in this country? I don't mean players that convert PAL to NTSC, but ones that output a PAL signal from a PAL source and a NTSC signal from a NTSC source?

I know my Denon DVD-3800 can output both PAL and NTSC, because the manual says so :)
It can also convert from NTSC to PAL and vice versa.

the arcam dv89 dvd player will also ouput PAL in PAL and NTSC in NTSC or convert one to the other for output and can also output a progressive PAL or NTSC signal.

I borrowed a Rotel RDV-1060 to check out its DVD-Audio. It has both a switch on back for PAL or NTSC as well as a spot for a SCART connector.

Alan, I just installed a region-free kit in a XP30, and it works quite nicely. PAL output when a PAL disc is played. Interlaced only in PAL mode, though.
