ok the wife and i are deciding to paint the room . she doesnt want the acoustic panels, and i dont want a shinny finish as ther will be to many sound reflections. so we decides on suede paint by ralph lauren . the texture is like sand to it should reduce the reflections. any one have this , or any other iears . for the walls???????? frank

I doubt ANY paint is going to make much difference in SOUND reflections (although it will help your video, the surface is still HARD). You can however get some help from more spouse friendly wall coverings. Quilts, curtins and even book cases (filled with books) can help absorb reflections and still look great.
