Does anyone know of a padding or slides that can be put under the legs of an entertainment Armoire that would allow you to easily slide the Armoire on a hardwood floor for easy access to the back in order to hook up and rearrange the cables if needed.

Thanks

Check your local Menards store. There you should be able to find something that attaches to the bottom of the furniture.

any hardware store should have what you need. they usually have both the heavy-duty caster-type wheels (like the kind you see on metal kitchen carts), as well as the lighter-duty plastic wheels (like the kind you see on office chairs or furniture).

usually it's a wheel and plate that you attach to the surface with 4 screws.
