Hi again.
I wanted to ask something else, so that I'm making sure I do it right.
When a film is in Dolby surround 2.0 I choose Dolby Surround on my receiver and I'm hearing from all speakers like a 5.1, right?
I wanted to watch The French Connection.
The receiver identifies this audio option as Dolby Audio - DD but if I choose Dolby Digital I hear as stereo, from the 2 front speakers.
The menu though says this audio option is Dolby Surround.
I'm confused..

You need to use an upmixer for a title like that, I'm gathering -- yes, when a film is in 2.0, choosing Dolby Surround or DTS Neural X will steer it properly in a 5.1-plus system.
