I'm slowly but surely getting my SCH bookshelves built. I'm painting the rear of the speaker right now which has the terminal cup and the port. After numerous coats of primer, black paint, an clear there has acumulated quite a buildup of overspray inside the port. It feels like 120 grit sand paper. Should I try to remove this or is it no big deal?

Try and sand down the inside of the port if you can, otherwise, just let it ride.

  3. I also don't think it will be a problem. If you sand it down you will get a matte finish, so try to sand down with some fine sand paper so the matte finish looks nice. perhaps 400?
