Using the AVIA overscan test pattern, overscan on my WEGA was about 5% on the sides and 4% on the top and bottom. I used HSIZ to reduce the overscan on the sides so that it's an equal 4-4.5% all around. I also made some subtle adjustments to make sure geometry was "correct". To judge whether geometry was correct or not I used the circle-hatch and cross-hatch patterns. The circles seemed to be (almost) perfectly round, and the boxes on the cross-hatch pattern seem to be equal size. I also made a few linearity (?) adjustment to make sure lines were as straight as they could be, and messed around with the corner geometry settings. Is that all I have to be concerned with after changing HSIZ. Also is my horizontal overscan now 4.5% or 9% in total? Thanks in advance!
