a true story to go with my confirmation

ready to buy the rotel 1066 today

me(talking to salesman on the phone):did you get the 1066 in today

saleman:no,rotel says they are on backorder

me:but you told me that it shipped on 3/27 and you had a tracking number and you checked and the UPS site said it would be delivered today

salesman:yeah,that is what rotel told me

me:so that means you never checked,right?

salesman:...........yeah

me:hanging up the phone

i come home,check my e-mail and there it is

Date reserved:12/14/01-6:00 a.m.

2 things-

i won't fight it anymore-no Rotel,no Anthem(if it had PL 2 i would have already have bought it a long time ago)no more looking at other Pre-Pro's,it is fate for me to have the 950

also i was one of those that had his E-Mail address changed after i reserved the 950 because of the At-Home problems i called them(Outlaw),gave them new address at the end of Feb.-no problem

It shipped from Long Beach just southwest of Los Angeles, California!

Yeah LA LA Land! Since it shipped from Long Beach I wonder if it's a newly built 950, direct from Malaysia, or if the Outlaws fixed one of the earlier 950's that arrived a few weeks ago. Maybe the Outlaws have a service depot in Long Beach?

Where did the earlier 950's ship from?

Sankar-i was not in(seeing Spiderman at the time)when DHL came at 11:20 a.m. so i called them so i could pick it up and they asked me which was better bringing it out to me Sat. or between 7:00-8:00 p.m. t-nite of course i picked t-nite- cool company makes U.P.S look like a bunch
