Does anyone out there use the 770 with say for example, 4 Ohm fronts, and 6 Ohm center/surrounds? I've read the quote "there's only so much power a single unit can put out", and was wondering if anyone has had any problems with this type of setup. The 770 is stated to have 300WPC for all 7 channels if the loads are at 4 Ohms. The reason why I'm asking is because I'm thinking about making the setup below, and wanted your experience and opinions:
Outlaw 950/770
Mains: Axiom M80TiSe's - 4 Ohm; 400W power handling
Center: Axiom VP150Se - 6 Ohm; 400W power handling
Sides and Rears: QS8's - 6 Ohm; 400W power handling
Now, would the limiting factor be the 770 as I get the system louder and louder? or will the 770 power those speakers up to insane listening levels?
Thanks for your help!
