I just ordered the 990 yesterday. I was going to get a B-Stock 7100 but they promised me that they would have a brand new 7100 in 30 days. I made them promise because I would have gotten the B-stock if there was any chance I couldn't get anymore 7100s. Maybe they meant the newer model? As long as I get a comparable amp for the same price.

Interesting. I guess whoever the supplier for the 7100 is (was!), was not as reliably as ATI for the 750/755/770...

I *thought* it might be Adcom, but I don't know if anyone knows (or cares) at this point. ;)

So I wonder why was the 7100 discontinued but not the 755 or the 770 ... I wonder if somehow it's related to ATI not having an amp of their own "similar" to the Outlaw version. (I.e., they have the unbalanced 1800 series and the balanced 2000 series, but no 100W/ch multichannel amp in their own lineup. So that means they were making that amp specifically for Outlaw.)
