Whew! Looks like May 24th will be very painful to my wallet!

7 releases that I want to buy:

MASH - S8
Airwolf - S1
NewsRadio - S1/S2
Andy Griffith - S2
Law & Order - S3
Speed Racer - Vol 3
Dick van Dyke S1-5 (Since I didn't buy the season sets.)
Even if you don't count this series release, that's still a chunk o' change for 6 sets.

A little reprieve on May 31st with only The Dukes of Hazzard S-3 coming out (that I'm planning to purchase)...

and the pain begins again on June 7th with 6 more releases I want to purchase:

Quincy - S1
Dragnet 1967 - S1
Wonder Woman - S3
Lois & Clark - S1
MacGuyver - S2
Father of the Pride - Complete series

I remember last year we had a discussion about a painful week of releases and I've not noticed this many at one time since then.

I usually make 2 or 3 season set purchases a week, but this is gonna hurt! :) Anyone else feeling the pain?

Kinda bitter-sweet since it means all this great classic TV will be in my library.

Parents will be picking up MASH and Quincy

Ill be getting McGuyver.

For me there have been worse months(last year) where there were 8 sets i wanted in one month. That was total torture. it could be worse though. If your a video game fan every other month recently has had 8-10 good game releases. Put that on top of dvd's and you can pull your hair out :)

March is hitting me pretty hard. Here are my definite "have bought" or "plan to buy" sets...plus there are several other lower-priority March sets on the "later when I can afford it" list:

March 8:

21 Jump Street Season 2
Xena Season 6

March 15:

La Femme Nikita Season 2 (the re-issue; even though I have the original, I want this too)
Starsky and Hutch Season 3

March 22:

The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries Season 1
Silk Stalkings Season 2

March 29:

The Lone Gunmen Complete Series

Jon I'm taking a Hard Stance on TV on DVD I have so much that I really am in the mode to buy my Favs. Out of your List I'll buy Mash, In June I'd Consider Dragnet and Quincy depending on Price. Take this week I liked Kojak but I don't think I like it enough to Own it. There's just not enuough time in the week to watch all this TV on DVD, Movies, and New TV and still have other things in Life

May 14 - Airwolf S1 and M*A*S*H S8
May 31 - DangerMouse S1 & S2 and Tomorrow People S1

June 7 has three that I'm thinking about but no definite purchasing plans - Quincy S1 & S2, Lois and Clark and MyGyver. The problem with the second two is I have heard great reviews of them both but for several years working evenings, I never saw a crateload of series. Oh, well...

I can't wait for May to get here, with four shows I've been dying for finally coming out on DVD. I'll be picking up:

This is Wonderland S1 on the 3rd

Joan of Arcadia S1 on the 10th

Pete and Pete S1 on the 17th

NewsRadio S1&2 on the 24th

Pete and Pete has far and away been my most wanted release for a long time. I'm so so excited about it finally coming out.

I'll also eventually get M*A*S*H S8, as I'm only up to S2 so far.

As for June, I've got the final season of Homicide on pre-order, and I'm also looking forward to Northern Exposure S3.
