What do I need to get OTA HD w/ the JVC 6000 receiver (Dish Network)?

Is there some kind of "plug in"?

If so, how much $?

How does the on screen menu work with OTA?

TIA for any help.

You will need to purchase the 8vsb module and an Ota antenna..The 8 vsb module plugs into the port closest to the center in the back of the unit...It costs 149 dollars all though from time to time you might see specials as low as 99 dollars..
The OTA module incorporates both digital ota channels and analog ota channels into the on screen channel guide..

You need the 8VSB module and an antenna. The module is $150 and the antenna can range from $5 (like mine) to $100+ depending on the size. Remember, more expensive antennas do not always mean they are better. Research the model here and at AVS Forum before you buy. I'm not sure how OTA fits in with the guide on the 6000 but on my Hughes, it is just another channel. I can have 3 channel 5's. 5 analog, 5 local over sat and 5-1 OTA digital.
