    Hi Gang;

    Still helping a friend decide on a HD RPTV-Leaning towards the 65 Tosh.

    New question is; Who makes the $300 OTA HD receiver?
    He doesn't need Dish or Direct for now,and I heard there are OTA receiver's only???

    Thanks
    CC

    Samung has just released a new OTA HD receiver for $399. The only place I know of that currently sells it is J&R (jandr.com). Hopefully Best Buy will stock it soon. I plan to pick up one of these as soon as I can find it locally.

    abtelectronics.com had it for a week or two. And for a while it was mispriced at $365 with free shipping. Had I known it had a $400 MSRP I would have snatched it up.

    They now have it backordered 7-14 days at $395

    You snooze you lose I guess

    Check the various classifieds for used HD satellite receivers. If they have an 8VSB module (most do) they will also receive OTA-HD. Used Unity Motion HDR-100's often go for around $250 and sometimes less.
