I'm looking for an OTA receiver for my grandfather. He won't be using it for HDTV (tv not capable) but currently uses an antenna and will still benefit from improved picture quality and the additional digital stations (e.g. 18.1, etc).

In an ideal world, this box would also contain a DVD player and a VCR. I've seen an LG that has the DVD player, but it's a little pricey.

Is there one that has DVD and VCR? If not, are there others that have the DVD player built in?

He is currently cramped for space and inputs so the more things we can get in one unit the better.

Thanks so much for all your help!

Your Best bet is a DVD/VCR combination unit and an OTA seperate receiver. You will not find all three bundled.

The DVD/VCR combo will have a TV antenna input, so it can do OTA also. Won’t do that digital .1 stuff, though. That requires a HD set-top box, I think.
