I agree John, this wold be another great showcase event for them. I look forward to the time when I don't even have to ask if it's going to be in HD.

I seem to remember an article from Entertainment Weekly about 2 months ago that talked about the revitalization of the Hollywood Strip and the under construction Kodak Theatre where the Oscars will be held in a few years. If I remember correctly there was a statement that the new location would be properly wired for HDTV.
