According to The Laser' s Edge it'll be released in 1.33:1 Full Screen. [IMG] [IMG]

I know this movie isn't the greatest or anything, but it has enough charm for me to purchase it for the $8 it'll be selling for - but not if it's non-OAR! [IMG]

Does anyone know how accurate pre-release info at The Laser's Edge?

    Nevermind - It's listed as 1.85 OAR at Buena Vista's website. :b

Let's hope for anamorphic enhancement. [IMG]

Doesn't surprise me. Disney is doing this more and more with their catalog titles. Saves them from having to provide a new transfer, and it caters to what they (possibly rightly) perceive is a greater demand for pan and scan than for widescreen. We'll have the last laugh once widescreen t.v.s truly penetrate the market, but that is a few years off. Meanwhile, we all hope our personal Disney faves from the announced titles won't meet this horrid fate (mine: THE DOCTOR with William Hurt).

Yeah I have a full screen laserdisc, was waiting of this DVD, glad it's at least widescreen! Preordered it for just $6.30 from DD along with Hardware (1990) [IMG]
