OS X and IE 5.1 Problem (1 Viewer)

Hey there.

I use Internet Explorer 5.1 under Mac OS X and can't use the quote feature. When I try to copy and paste text into the javascript prompt, i get nothing. Either the text is jumbled or nothing appears. Please advise.

I've had this happen before with OS 9 and IE. I think it's an issue with I.E., and not really anything to do with how the HTF is set up.

If the quote function is giving you trouble with the javascript just use [ quote ]paste your text here[ /quote ](without the spaces in the brackets) and it will do the same thing.

Sorry to hear that you are having issues with IE and the Mac. Are you able to download a newer version of IE to see if this fixes the problem?

Thanks Jeff and Parker. I actually updated to the newest version of IE for OSX and still have the same problem. I will use the

idea for now, don't know why i didn't think of that. Hopefully Microsoft will fix this problem in future upgrades....
