This post is one which I am hesitant to post, as I'm unaware whether it is permitted. If not, please remove it immediately, as you have my sincere apology.
With that said, I'm just curious if anyone has seen a DVD of any of the original Star Wars movies. I keep seeing them on eBay with 5.1 surround sound supposedly taked from the laserdisc transfer. What is the quality of these discs? And do they truly have 5.1 channel surround sound?
Please understand that I am in no way advocating the purchase of these discs. I am merely curious as to whether or not quality copies of the original Star Wars trilogy exist on DVD. Thanks!
