I have played both SSX and Tricky at my brothers place and I finally got a PS2 and SSX (original). I remember being able to use the left analog stick to straighten out if I was going to fall on my head. Was this feature only in Tricky? I can't remember. I have tried it on my SSX and nothing happens and I fall on my head. Do I just have to land everything without any help? If I'm upside down in the air and falling am I out of luck? How do you land the trick if you find yourself falling head first?

any other tips I should know with this game?

Try switching to (or from) the Pro setting in the controller setup. I'm not entirely sure what the situation is, but toggling the Pro/Standard setting will probably resolve it. You can control your horizontal and vertical twisting while in the air, so just make sure that you are level by the time you touch down. [IMG]

Try using the D-pad. If I remember correctly that should flip you over.
