Optoma ceiling mount..... Grrrrrrrrrrrr! (1 Viewer)

Having just bought an Optoma DX606 DLP Projector, I then went and bought a universal mount. The only problem is the screws wont fit in to the projector. I spent 2 hours driving around all the hardware stores and bolt supply companies in Calgary and left everyone scratching their heads! I could not find a screw to fit the holes anywhere? The closest was a 2.5mm but it was still not perfect so i am guessing it is around 2.6mm. Can anyone shed any light on my problem or is it a DIY ceiling mount for me!

Your mount should have come with screws that are compatable with your projector. I would suggest returning the mount you bought.
