Options on childproofing the HT (1 Viewer)

I've got small children. The 5 & 4 year olds generally stay away from the HT but the 18 month old is driving me nuts. Not only do I need to worry about him but he has cousins the same age that come over a lot. I need to find a gate or something to go around the RPTV and equipment rack. Any ideas?

I use the 6 panel Superyard XT gate (Available at Toys R Us http://tinyurl.com/k2w37) to keep my son away from the HT equipment area

What about a dog kennel and some superglue......I used that when my two were younger and worked like a charm!

Now I just tell them to go play PS2!!

In all seriousness does your rack have doors of any kind? They make neat little magnetic door releases to keep little hands out.

When my kids were small I gave them a "remote" of their own to play with and it was usually enough to satisfy their need to press buttons.

BTW I did find out that a VHS tape will go in upside down and backwards!!!!! Don't ask!!!!!!

Don't play very well that way though!
