I've noted that the Optimum release of Naked Lunch in the UK appears to have many of the extras I'd care most about from the Criterion release: commentaries and documentary and the price is much cheaper than importing the Criterion 2-disc. So, the main question is how does the image compare? Has anyone done a head-to-head on these two releases?

Well it looks like the Optimum release has the goods, although I'm surprised about Peter Weller being left off the commentary as amazon.co.uk clearly lists a Peter Weller commentary.

The still archives don't really matter to me, but I really would prefer the complete commentary.

If anyone has the Optimum release can it be confirmed that Peter Weller's commentary is missing?
