hi all -

i'm having a friendly debate with a co-worker.

she states coax are better for longer runs (>20ft) because they're more immune to electrical interference.

i'm thinking optical is better because it's optical. it can't pick up any stray interference.

the only bennie i can see to coax is that a really long optical run may be cost prohibitive...

opinions???

optical is immune to electrical interferece whether EMI or RFI. it can be pricey compared to coax though.
