Okay, I have one optical input on my receiver that does the full spectrum (96 Hz?), the other only does half rate. I need to hook up my DVD player, Xbox, and PS2 optically, but need to use the single good input. I have been looking at optical switchers and was wanting yalls opinion on some.
Take a look at this by Recoton: http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd..._ID=4521&DID=7
and this: http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd...ID=16161&DID=7
Also, there is an optical "splitter" here - http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd...ID=16153&DID=7 .
My question is, can I just sort of "daisy chain" my optical cables (DVD player, Xbox, PS2) into my single input on my receiver using these splitters?...Or do I need one of the above switches?
Any help is appreciated.
