Opinions on Hitachi 36udx10s

    Compared this with a SOny xbr450 today and I preferd the Hitachi. I think the curved screen was more an advantage because no geometry issues. The Sony had a bow look to it that was wierd to my eyes. What are your thoghts on the Hitachi?

    I personally detested the amount of curvature in the Hitachi. To me it looked like the old "fishbowl" style set.

    I have the 32" version and I love it. If you like it more than the Sony then it is a no brainer really, buy the one you like. The curved screen and only 1 component input are the only downsides to this set so if you are happy with the curved screen you just need to deal with the single component input. Plus you will be saving about $500 compared to the Sony.
