I'm looking for a good 2 channel amp to fill out my 7.1 system(I have the 5 channel)I can get the Denon POA 2800 for a very good price locally and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this or any related amps from Denon.

    Thanx,Wayner

if its new, from an Authorized Denon Dealer, and you have a good price on it, I would say go for it. Denon amps are considered fairly transparent and very musical. For the same RETAIL price, there are some very worthy competing products, but the Denon is a solid piece.

I have a Denon POA-5200 that I had mated with the Denon AVR-4800. I thought it was a great piece of gear...and I am going to keep it for the long term.
