Hi all,

My wife is going back to school so I've been looking for a laptop for her.I would also like to use it as a gaming machine whenever she's not using it.

Anyway,I came across the Dell 600m here .Right now they have a free ram upgrade from 256 to 768MB and free shipping.What do you think?Is it a good buy?Price is in Canadian dollars.

Also,should I upgrade to XP PRO?Does Dell ship an actual XP disc w/ the unit as I would like to upgrade my desktop from WIN2k to XP as well.

What about looking in the small business section at the Latitude D series laptops? Usually you can get the latitudes installed with win2k.

The Latitude is a little out of my price range.Nice size though.
