I found a couple of rear projection TV's on closeout and wonder what the opinion is on them. One is an RCA model D52W20 and the other is a Panasonic PT47WX425. I have very little money to spend on a TV. The Panasonic is $1200.00 and the RCA is 1300.00. I would like to stay above 46". What do you all think of these two? Will buy one of them tomorrow if either one is OK (5/16).

    Thanks,
    Mark T

I would take the Panasonic over the RCA anyday.

Any particular reason? The image is very close on both of them but the RCA is 5" larger.

I think generally reliability is better on the Panasonic and its picture is highly tweakable. I'd go for the Panasonic too.

I'm all reliability and adjustability, and I have two votes for the Panasonic. So the five inch picture size difference wouldn't mean enough to sway you to the RCA?
