I've moved my collection to a new site and I'm just curious to see if anybody shares any of my tastes. Bring on the opinions and the criticisms - I can take the heat!

overall too much radio/mtv influence there i think.

however, i am a fan of seeing the old 97s in there (among other things). they made me realize i enjoyed alt-country.

I know, haven't gotten around to it. If I made a list of everything I wanted to get, it would be even longer.

the reason i ask is because we have some similar musical interests, but i'm a bona fide laswell nut.

guess i need to catalog my collection. how do you start? just dive in?

I've started but, I'm only a fraction through. This is just off the top of my head, while I'm at work.

The web site I use allows me to enter 15 entries in one shot, as long as I don't care about some details, like how much I paid for it, which I don't. I just wanted something to be able to send to people easy via internat or e-mail. A healthy dose of cut 'n' paste and a dedicated few hours did the trick.

200 logged in and counting.... still operating from memory.... thankfully logging my movies won't be as difficult.

wow after looking at Mike's, my piddly 3-400 seems like a joke. [IMG]

You seem to like stuff that edges toward kuntry at thymes. Therefore, I suggest:

    Nickel Creek THIS TIME
    Seatrain S/T
    Area Code 615
    Cadillac Hitmen

Man, I won't even DARE to post my CD collection for fear of being flamed into next tuesday.

I've been thinking of burning my Carnivore and Dinosaur's Big Songs CD before anyone noticed them anyway.[IMG]

That's a pretty cool site. Seeing it may just motivate me to update my my own CD list that is probably hopelessly beyond an easy repair. It's been hard to stay in the habit of adding new purchases.

In terms of your collection, it seems a bit limited to me but by it's size it's probably destined to seem like that to an outsider. I'm sure some of that will be brought up to code when you get the sickness for real. In the end if it keeps you happy that's what matters.

Good point someone made about the Beatles. Personally I can't stand the Beatles and even I have 5-6 titles.
