Opinions of In Focus SP5000 (1 Viewer)

I'm looking at the SP5000 from In Focus. What are your opinions of this projector? It has HD capability and is under $2000. Is it any good? Are there other projectors that I should look at that would be comparable?

Josh, first the disclaimer: my company is a ScreenPlay dealer (and forum sponsor. The SP5000 is a good projector and if HD is what you'll primarily be viewing, this is a good choice for the price. I also really like the Panasonic PT-AE700U which is slighly more expensive but well worth it. You may also want to look at the Sanyo Z3. I also recommend thst you evaluate the support provided by manufacturer & dealer plus return policies.
