I am looking for a free dictionary program (for Windows) that I can install on my computer and look up words WITHOUT BEING CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET. (I don't mind connecting to the internet to update the dictionary, I just don't want the internet connection to be necessary to LOOK UP a word.)

I tried one called OpenDict. When connected to a the Internet it works well. But as I stated earlier, I wanted to use the program offline. OpenDict also seems to have an option for loading local dictionary files from the hard drive, but I couldn't find any for download.

So can anyone either recommend a free dictionary program or tell me where to download dictionaries for OpenDict? I am looking for a regular English language dictionary (where you look up a word and get the definition) as well as English-Spanish and Spanish-English dictionaries.

    Thanks.
