If you could only purchase one Arnold Schwarzenegger replacement (SE version) DVD for a DVD that you already own which would it be?
    . Total Recall
    . or
    . Terminator
    And why?

Only have the funds to purchase one of the above and would like to get some feedback... I like both movies very much!

Terminator, more/better extras and IMO a bigger classic (but Total Recall still rocks mind you)

I've only got Total recall so far, but if I had to choose one, Terminator would be it. Total recall, while not exactly boring, is by far my least favorite Verhoeven movie(I've only seen his american productions however, but hope to change that), and it isn't one of Schwarzenegger's best either, IMHO.

I love both, but T1 gets my vote by a little bit. I'll get both though.

I never bought the original release of T1 because i knew that there was an SE on the way. In the case of choosing one of the two, I am with everyone else. As much as i like total recall, and yes i did pick up the new version, The Terminator is a better flick and a better SE.

when 800.com was having a sale 3 movies for 1 dollar. I got a copy of terminator 1. I have since traded it away when I heard that a new terminator 1 Se dvd was coming. I have been waiting for it to come. I like total recall. it was one of Paul's better movie. Its not something that I can watch over and over again.. maybe once every few years or so. I am interested in the T1 SE.. with the new sound, the deleted scenes, and of course the new documentary.. which all of my friends have said that it;s awesome.. I cann;t wait.
    check out www.terminator1.com
they have revamped the site for the SE dvd.

It looks like I will get "The Terminator"
From replies here and the message posting about the 5.1 sound track seem to vote this as the current MUST HAVE DVD.
    Thanks for the replies!

Get T1 just because it doesn't come with a Red Baboon Ass tin.

I think this topic would be more appropriate if it were moved over to polls
