I am considering these two receivers to go along with my Mits46809 and Sony DVP NS700P. I notice that the component video switch bandwidth is about 30mhz on the Yamaha, about 60mhz on the Onkyo. I was leaning towards Yamaha thinking slightly better sound for the same price. However, I don't want to sacrifice my video quality at the same time. Will 30mhz on the component video connection cause video degradation? I appreciate any input on this point. Thanks.

30-33 MHz is sufficient to pass high-definition signals with no degradation. There was another post on this somewhere as it relates to the Denon 3802, which only has 27 MHz. Do a search, and you can probably find the post. There was a link in there to another website where a Denon rep posted the minimum bandwidth for HD signals.
