Hi everyone,
I'm a newbie planning to buy a HT system. What do you think of the Onkyo LS-V950 in terms of price and performance?

I'd recommend the Onkyo HT-755DC quite a bit over that unit. More power (480 watts vs. 320), more features (6.1 ES/EX vs. only 5.1) & speakers with better build quality. Link below to features.

Thanks for your reply. But has anyone tried out either one of the systems? Are there any issues with the receivers?

I don't have either of the receivers, but I do have the SKSHT-500 and the SKB-100 (the 5.1 system + a back surround) that come with the 755 and am very pleased with them.
