    I want to get a lower budget Home Theatre Systems for my apartment. The size of living room is 14' x 17'

    I am wondering which one is better out of these following options;
    1. onkyo ht-s770
    2. onkyo TX-SR502+Fluance AV-HTB
    3. or onkyo TX-SR601 (factory preconditioned) + onkyo SKS-
    HT510 6.1 (the deal from shoponkyo.com)

    what will be other options for around 500 dollar budget?

    Thanks [IMG]

    Refurbed SR502 = $200 delivered at eCost
    Fluance SX-HTB = $329 delivered at Fluance
    Or get the 502 and the AV-HTB and get a subwoofer.

    Something else to consider at bhphotovideo.com

    My advice...Put more into speakers. That is where you will gain a return on your investment. If you can, avoid the HTIB. I had a couple $800 receivers which i sold for profit and put back into speakers. You can have a great receiver but you would never no it if the speakers are junk.

    Be very carefull about a sub in a apartment building. I moved out of my last apartment years ago and bought a house because of the sound system of the guy who lived above me.I don't even know what he played all I could hear was this muddy sound and the change in air pressure on my ears. We were on yelling terms by the time I moved.
    My basement is soundproof and yet I still have problems with vibrations from the sub.
    I have a SX-HTB set and didn't buy a sub for a few months. Those speakers still can put out alot of Bass mind you not the low pressure stuff that could drive a neighbour crazy.
