Onkyo 601 + S&V - Possible to use test tones on DVD instead of receiver's? (1 Viewer)

I was trying to calibrate my speakers using my S&V disc and every time I enter into the speaker level menu it bypasses the disc's tones and goes into the receiver's tones. Is it possible to use the disc's tones with this model? Thanks.

Run your S&V calibration disc and record the channel levels, then run your test calibration through your receiver and match it to the levels you recorded with your S&V disc. You'll need a sound meter to do your calibrations...have a good one.
